Deb Fagnan: I am married and have a son, Matthew, a beagle named Rosie and a Jack Russell named Buster. I am the full time school library media specialist and technology integrator Coordinator in an elementary school in New Jersey. I am deeply committed to my students and my goal is to provide them with the tools needed to become independent learners, and to thrive in the 21st Century. I also enjoy working part-time at the Midland Park Memorial Library and the Ridgefield Park Library. Both these libraries are part of the Bergen County Cooperative Library System. I received my school library media certification through Rutgers University and I am certified from the State of New Jersey. Currently, I am working towards my MLIS from San Jose State University. I enjoy learning, biking and dog training. Currently Rosie and I are working towards our dog therapy license. Rosie is looking forward in becoming a “library dog” where kids will learn to deepen their reading skills by reading stories to her. Rosie has some favorites stories such as Lucy’s Tricks and Treats.
